Pop-up Book for Colourblind Children
A final year graphics project at Brunel University, this project focused on the redesign of a popular childrens book, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle. The book was designed for children with deuteranomaly - a common form of colourblindness, often overlooked in the classroom. This version aimed to keep the child entertained through textures and pop up elements, adding to their experience of the book and enhancing parts of the story that they may otherwise miss out on.
