The Gallery presents Fine Art, Sculpture and Modern Art expositions. The building has a steel structure with large spans giving more flexibility for the arrangement of the exhibition space. The internal core, composed of inclined steel columns, creates a unique inner space and reduces the overall number of columns which frees more space for bigger expositions. The internal partition walls are made of movable panels suspended from the ceiling. The glassed strip, lining the main façade and the glassed roof, closing the atrium, both composed of safety frosted glass with incorporated shading elements and equipped with computer controlled openings for ventilation, let the natural light in and allow the natural air ventilation, all resulting in low energy consummation. In contrast to the glassed ground level, open to the surrounding environment, the entirely closed upper part of the façades prevents the internal exhibition space from the direct sun rays.
