This sketch really honed in the overall direction for this project and what I wanted to convey.
This moodboard was key for establishing the relationship that an athlete has with the bag they bring.
This bag is designed to carry 4 sticks, enough for an elite athlete as they travel to multiple games during a season. Designed for symmetrical production and incorporating the Brine logo into the lacrosse storage, this duffel was made for the athlete who operates at the highest level.
During a season, athletes need different things from their bags. I designed a smaller "fanny pack" for shorter sessions, just sized for eye protection and jewelry storage. The larger bag is designed to feel like a portable closet, storing mulitple outfits and providing appropriate structure with a hard -surface shell.

Lacrosse Bag Collection

This was a school project in the fall of my Senior year, and we had a few weeks to come up with and develop a series of soft good design products for a brand. I chose a women's lacrosse brand and researched the history of the game, as well as many videos of lacrosse players at all levels showing what they typically carry in their bags. I designed first with the needs of the players in mind, then considered the incorporation of branding and brand extension.
