Pokit - Tailoring Without the Fear Factor - Pokit is a relatively young London based label with an aim of making the concept of made-to-measure tailoring more desirable for the younger generation. Pokit aims to provide an in store tailoring service that is accessible, affordable and exciting.
My project involves the reuse and redevelopment of a large disused industrial building in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, into a new Head Quarters for the innovative design label, Pokit. My brief aims to provide Pokit with an exciting new retail location outside of London, combining tailoring, made-to-measure shoes, unique bags, off-the-peg retail and a catwalk space together under the one roof. It will become a ‘design hub’, where everything Pokit has to offer is available.
