Sentia is a set of three park elements for children, adapted for disabled children. The intention is to create an inspiration space between children, where they can play together without discrimination, promoting their social integration. This place can stimulate the emotional and physical senses.
The project has been realized in the Master's Degree in Design and Manufacturing in University Jaume I (Spain).
During the process, lots of aspects of design has been developed, such as Industrial so graphic. It includes ecodesign aspects (such as the optimization the quantity of material or the integration of some functions for the same element); the choise of materials and manufacturing processes, doing the mechanical measuring required; a technical and economical viability study; corporate identity and branding of the product; virtual prototypes, applying the knowledge about CAD/CAE/CAM.
