Virgin HQ
Designed for the Australian Virgin Blue Headquaters, this range of furniture takes direct inspiration from aeronautical forms. With all pieces being folded from metal, it makes reference to the materials used in aircraft. The taper on the folded forms represent wing shapes, with details of a landing strip patterning being incorporated into the seat and table surfaces. The main detail was to incorporate the Virgin 'V' into the ends of the furniture. While it is only an interpretation of the logo, it helps to create an identity of the furniture as a Virgin product.
