Flood Resistant House, Battery Park, NYC - Designed as a New York City flood protection scheme, This flood resistant housing is a combination of two connected buildings: Agriculture and Residential. Agricultural building characterized by sloping honey-comb slab supported on both sides by exterior steel diagonal grid structure, and ultra clear ETFE panels enclosure. The building is design to sink into the ground, protected from wind shear, as the water get pumped out of the well, and rise up as the well filled up with storm water.
