"Finland: Designed Environments" - Nordic Heritage Museum, Seattle
Finland: Designed Environments looked at the explosion of creativity in Finnish design over the last 15 years. Examples of furnishings, fashion, and craft, as well as architecture and urbanism, illustrate how nearly every aspect of Finnish life incorporates thoughtful design thinking—from city streets and summer homes to fashion and food—and is marked by sensitivity to form and material.
I was contacted by the exhibits team at the Nordic Heritage Museum to design and build display solutions for some of the more difficult-to-show artifacts, create a barrier system, and assist in the installation of the exhibit. What I came up with was both under budget and on time.
