WORKSHOP 4
Introduction:
In this wokshop we were responsible for assisting/ improving the learning experience and daily life of a disabled child, a 4 year old boy with muscular dystrophy.
Product (how it works):
By moving the spheres right or Left , the user will produce piano notes; when the spheres are pressed , there is a “ clicking sound “ being produced.
The cards are there in order to block the piano sounds, and allow the user to focus on the activity planed by the therapist. In this case the cards present states of being (happy, sad, hungry, pain, etc..)
List of product outcomes:
-The learning music board
-Chair fittings for improved posture & safety
-Story book
Result:
The child is able to learn and communicate his emotions by pressing the spheres.
