Bug
Bug - The Bug, is a second year project.
We were briefed to design and produce a robot which could navigate around a maze, locate an object, collect it and return to the beginning of the course.
The 2 antenne provide the micro processor with information on its proximity to objects.
It is driven by 2 6v DC motors. The pincers are activated by a small micro switch and are powered by a model aeroplane servo controller.
I designed the circuit boards and programmed the micro processors myself.
