Cable Chair
'Cable chair' was one of my latest projects within my University course were we had to design and build a plywood chair.
Many people in years previous had designed chairs through bending the wood to get nice curves, however I wanted to experiment and explore that there are other ways in which to obtain elegant shapes and styles.
The Overall chair is made from flat panels and all joined together using cable ties. Its these cable ties that brings about enough tension within the panels to be able to hold the weight of a person.
