After Garden Funeral Home Reception Area
This chapel/reception area was inspired by the hanging gardens of Babylon, the Garden of Eden, Medieval gardens,
and the recent trend of greening rooftops and the sides of buildings. The theme is faith, passage, and rebirth.
The selection of plants for the chapel is mainly green plants, with white owers to represent purity. Many selections have
spiritual and health associations.
The chapel is naturally lit from a skylight, evoking the celestial sphere, seen by many
faiths to symbolize heaven.
