Packaging - OutBursts
This project required that I design packaging for candy I was asked to take an existing package and redesign it as my own. I envisioned the candy to have a burst of flavor and wanted the packaging and name to reflect that. "Outbursts" are packaged in bright, fiery, "explosive" colors. The simple, yet colorful packaging, with its brightly colored circles (which mimic the shape of the candy) is meant to grab the consumer's attention. The slit on the package side exposes a hint of color meant to peak the consumer's curiosity as is the bright coloring of the package's lining. Another added feature is that, after the candy is consumer, the label comes off and turns into a picture frame. Fun!
