Valentine's Celebrity Predictions, The News, 2007 - Here is an illustration I did to accompany a story on celebrity love predictions for Valentines Day. I worked drew all of the caricatures, scanned them in and added the color in Photoshop.

Girls can go to the moon too! The Daily Item, 2004 - This was an illustration to accompany a story on a high school girl who wanted to be an astronaut and was going to space camp to study. I wanted to create an illustration with the feel of a children's story book. The story was an inspiring one for kids and I wanted that to come through in the illustration. This was a mixed media piece; watercolor, crayon, photography, colored pencil and photoshop.

Williamsport Mardi Gras Poster, 2006 - This was an illustration I created as an entry for a contest to develop a design for advertising the Mardi Gras celebration in Williamsport, PA. The year before I had been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and I wanted to incorporate some of the images I had seen. The mask in the background is an actual mask I brought home. I was also inspired by the work of New Orleans artist, Jamie Hayes with his big, bright, colorful characters. I used mixed media, for this piece
Iraq Hand-Over, The Daily Item, 2004 - Here is a charcoal and graphite drawing I did for the cover of World Report, a supplemental tab for the Daily Item. The illustration was about the handover of democracy by the US to Iraq citizens.
The Bus Illustration, The Daily Item, 2006 - This was an illustration used in our Superbowl 2006 tab. This was a mixed media project, I wanted to use some photos of popular football players, but also mix it with a caricature.
