Digital Painting for Book Cover
Brief: Create from new material a digital painting based on a book's English cover for use on the Afrikaans edition cover.
Method: Pencil sketch of dress and figure, scanned and painted using custom brushes in Photoshop and tablet. Painting of face and neck based on model image sourced from Shutterstock. Illustration was submitted to the cover designer in layered Photoshop format.
