The design project aims to come up with a new ritual of using objects that are a part of our daily life. Integral visco foam material is soft to touch and it provides a pleasant feeling under hand pressure. The foam with its interesting sensorial and tactile quality can transform or invent new ways of using existing objects in the house.
The containers designed for this project have to be interacted with in a more sensorial approach. The pressing and squeezing of the foam would enable the user to access what is inside.
The idea is for the person to have an enjoyable experience while interacting with the foam container with his hands. Utilizing the versatility that the material provides in terms of surface finishes, the design would create a visual and sensorial characterization for each object using colours and textures.
