Art Exhibition Nike Presto
A few of us on the Nike Design team were given white prestos as a blank slate to create art pieces that were to be part of an exhibition. My theme I chose was a Mod/Scooter theme. I hand painted the Mod targets in acrylic and made the tongue graphic in Illustrator. I also added the scooter graphic on the heel. The five dots on the midsole were also hand painted mod targets. These later showed up in a print Ad campaign in Europe. Shortly after that the actual shoes disappeared or were stolen. These photographs I took are all I have left to document them.
