Bands of steel and glass give way to fluid curves that run along the entire stretch of the Santacruz railway station forming its structure. Besides bringing in ample natural light and a feeling of openness to its interiors, these bands aim to express a sense of movement, pace and dynamism which the trains have been symbols to. The idea for the design concept was thus to create a strong playful presence even in the thick of the Mumbai hustle.
