Oscilloscopes are professional tools. The controls are complex and varied. It was important that the oscilloscope maintain a strong sense of professionalism and competency, while still embracing some of the usability that people have come to expect with their products. We used color, graphic design layout, and straightforward surfacing to convey a pristine, competent, professionalism.
