Obsessed with Foucault's theory of constructed architectural surrounds (compiled 'landing sites') and the extension of one's body into a surround through kinesthesia, I proposed a prosthetic limbs factory/ clinic that serves to bridge body and machine through a composition of landing sites that forms a varied and extensive architectural surround standing as elaborately structured pretexts for action (within what Foucault calls heterotopias).
Sitting on a massive inner-city site, the top of this building acts as landscaped thoroughfares and public nodes as way of giving back to the city. This duo program serves to accentuate the concept's execution.
