Poster: Kelchner Yoga
After finalizing Kelchner Fitness & Recreation Center’s logo, this is the first activity poster I developed. This project is a great example of how research can do a lot of the heavy lifting in determining how to approach a project: the imagery, typography and color palette came to mind naturally after reading about yoga’s Eastern origins. The smaller design is what I originally came up with, but the client thought it looked too feminine and wanted more universal appeal. I changed the colors to suit, and while the design lost some dynamism along the way, it became more serene and reached a nice middle ground in the end.
