Slip Cast Salt and Pepper Shakers - The form was found using scraps of wood and shrink wrap. The shrink wrapped objects were then made into plaster positives which were then molded.
Leaf Spring Lounge - This chair was developed with 2 main goals- 1. Leaf Spring inspiration. 2. Use the least amount of material as possible, but still meet strength requirements. In the end both of these goals were reached, and with the help of private investors the chair is now headed for production. Materials: Rotary sliced Birch veneers, reclaimed Wenge scraps, and Bamboo veneer (now Curly Maple).
Kinetic Sculpture 1 - This project involved form and movement. When a steel marble is dropped from the utmost point of the wire structure, the body of scupture moves back and forth on a single pivot point. Materials: Polystyrene, Solderable Wire, Poplar base.
Harmonica Bench - This bench was rendered using Maya, for the Cue Art Foundation Bench Design Competition.
