A product that I was trying to develop In conjunction with an electrical engineer that I worked with. We were trying to develop a device to detect avalanche victims through the combined use of GPS and Radio Telemetry. The "victim" would have to wear a device similar to an EZ -Pass in order to be found. We were unable to penetrate snow with an adequate radio signal to get the necessary feedback so the product died on the "drawing board".
