Mrs. Mase, 2015. There is texture in this photo as seen through the bumps and grooves of the paint on Mrs. Mase's face. The red cloth that is on her head also provides texture for the photo.
Cassidy, 2015. Line is present in this photo because the crack in the stone starts underneath her eye and then spans out in different directions.
Colin, 2015. There is value in this photo because the photo of Colin is in black and white and the texture that was implied is in color.

My favorite portrait technique was the applied texture because not only was it a really fun class but also the range of manipulations was so much larger than the other texture photos. I did not like the self collage all that much because I find that I am much better behind the camera then in front of it. If I could do one of these differently I would chose the Cassidy photo because I didn't completely wrap the texture around her face and it just seems unfinished to me.
