SS13 'Return to Form'
While developing ideas for my full SS13 collection, I decided to create an art piece that showcased an alternative way to use commercial materials, in this instance...paper. The paper had already been used and was ready to be recycled, but I wanted to give it another 'life'. The idea behind 'a return to form' is to highlight where the material used to construct this piece originated from; which in this case is the natural world. This 'dress' is adorned with origami shapes that reflect nature; flowers, leaves, insects and birds.
Once this piece's life has finished, it will be recycled and used again to create something new.
