This is sort of a sketch-pad work, before I return to work on "Das Mond", so expect to see some of the same motifs used between these two.

"The Moon Singer" is a children's book I remember from long ago, about a strange little boy who, orphaned, works as a miller's assistant. But at night, he runs into the woods and sings songs of unearthly beauty, so much so that he attracts the attention of... well, you'll see...

This will be a modern-dress adaptation, because I want to play off the contrast in environments between the woods he calls home and the one success foists onto him.
