Procedure of SHG accounting - 1. Some SHGs write accounts in regular note books, whilst others write it in printed accounts -Multiple data entry is required in various books of accounts -Data is often noted down in an unclear manner. 2. Some SHGs are not able to maintain accounts and take help of the Sahayogini 3. Some illiterate members can’t keep track of their personal accounts 4. Financial data of an SHG has to be reported periodically to the SHPA, for which the data has to be transported physically.
Accounting system on Mobile - The accounting application of SHG consists of options like pay money (monthly installment), take loan, SHG account details, SHG member details. This menu makes easy to use application, the language used in the menu is day-to-day language used in the SHG accounting.
