Concept Sketches - In order to solve the problem of transportation, I desided to do a docking station concept, but I wasn't sure what would make my docking station appeal to the needs of students. Some of my concepts included a printer, a wireless modem, mp3 player, and an inductive charging mat.
Docking Station Final Model - Laptop damages caused by incorrect storage and transportation practices are reduced with this docking station designed for the college demographic. The desire to move the laptop is decreased, while also incorporating the user's favorite playlists into the experience.
Dell Classmate - This Netbook designed for the college student is perfect for carrying to class and taking notes. Its small design is light but contains a fullsize keyboard.
