The team bios make it more personal as readers and authors know the faces behind the screen, and thus adding to the trust factor. Though unconventional to give this section prime importance, it was essential in this case considering the industry.
Also, manuscript submission and contact form is simple and easy, focusing on only the information needed.
An important aspect of the design was to keep in mind the responsiveness across devices considering the audience demographics.
