Heritage street furniture design concepts come from Penang heritage shophouse in “Early Straits” Eclectic style 1890s-1910s and combined with the ideas of beautiful and creative 3D wall mural design around Georgetown area. The main purposes is to create joy and surprises of our lives, decorate our place with interesting furniture to draw people’s attention and attract someone’s interest to come over have a seat and take photo.
I had chosen some natural material from an old carved timber door; window and red cement brick to put value in community, natural and create uniqueness of appearance. By using some traditional furniture not only embodies Chinese aesthetic taste but also create conversation of environment and local sustainability. Besides that, it also reflects some kind of harmonious relationship between man and nature.
