Arcimboldo Fruit Portrait
The artist that we looked to was Giuseppe Arcimboldo, known for his paintings done using fruit to create a model’s facial features and accessories. Some of the tools in photoshop that were used to recreate the look of his work was by using the magnetic lasso tool to get certain portions of the fruit that I wanted as well as option, click, and drag to duplicate the layers and pose them in different positions. First I started with the most noticeable places (Ex. the skin and the hair), then going into more detailed features (Ex. eyes, nose, ears, mouth, other accessories) and lastly finishing it off with the lazy parts that don’t need as much attention (Ex. the clothes and the background).
