The moodboard was developed by studying the trend forecast and comparing it with the brands design aesthetics. The colour palette was developed from the moodboard.
These are the paper concepts developed for the woven samples.
The concepts were developed by studying the brand Missoni, its aesthetics and design philosophy.
The samples were woven on a silk warp using silk, cotton and very fine wool for texture variations.
In some samples the warp was dyed to get the required effect.

The project brief was to develope a collection for the womenswear range for Missoni. I created a range for the spring summer collection, based on the idea of Curator- collection of things, modular like a blog or a museum prescribing once vision with daring thanks to a frank and fresh range of classic wood tones, tinted whites and bold recognizable brights.
