Part of my portfolio I sketched croquis of Girls-wear Ive designed in a couple of styles. In fast paced design rooms, we don't really have time for croqui sketches, but it's always nice to see it merchandised in sketch form or on a real girl.

I was in charge of all private label designs for the store Club Libby Lu. I designed for their brand as well as Hanna montana licensed product. Very specific details needed to be pointed out on the CADS of my designs.

They wanted to be the Girlswear that resembled Victoria Secret's "Pink" collection. But for Tween Girls
On top of private label designing, still had to get out the "knitworks" line for Market every month. A couple of examples of some of the items I designed...
Product Development work for JCPenney private label brand "ARIZONA" Tunics with Scarfs & Graphics. Give-aways was big on retail. Accesories that came with the top was a Value set. Necklaces, Hats, Backpack, Scarfs etc.. sold attached to the tops.
I would spot many little girls on the street wearing my creations. This is one example of a cute girl I stopped to snap a pic of on one of my visits at Disneyland. Wearing a drop waist "Madonna" tunic with chiffon print ruffles and Glitter screen graphic.

Tween Summer embellished racer tanks with Gel Glitter graphics and heatseals. A la Fred Segal.
I also design embellishment patterns for hand beading. Here's an example I did on a neckline. This was part of a holiday collection and I made it a little fancier by screen printing the labels in foil.

My experience designing for the Girls Tween Market has varied from Sportswear and dresses categories. Some Examples of my work come from designing sportswear at Knitworks/Beautees for 7 years as well as Dresses for 2yrs. I started working in the Tween division at Self-Esteem All Access apparel. In addition I have also done freelance work for Kmart/Walmart projects at Evy of California & Jerry Leigh. Attached are examples of my work.
