Salt and Pepper Mills - This set of Salt and Pepper mills is made almost entirely from off-the-shelf plumbing parts. The twist here is, instead of wandering through my local Home Depot, I downloaded 3D CAD files from McMaster-Carr's excellent website and assembled the mills digitally. This 'download and build' prototyping technique is fairly common practice when engineering mechanical systems. By applying it to design, I was able to put together a new product in minutes without leaving my studio.
