Hancock Field Station 3.1
This term I designed a youth camp for OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) at their current site of Hancock Field Station in the Clarno Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds near Fossil, OR. The existing youth center there is getting outdated and this is a redesign proposal for the site. I took into consideration; the existing structures on site, collecting rain and solar energy to become more sustainable and I spent most of the term on site layout of the program. The main buildings were the dining hall (which included a kitchen, dining, library/lounge), classrooms, cabins, staff cabins, and a shop for maintenance.
