The automobile has existed in the lives of humans for over a century, and has seen many diverse and interesting phases of design. This pair of salt and pepper grinders is based upon the design language of the Flow Line car era. Flow Line includes European and a few American sports cars from the 1960's. Prominent features are soft, flowing profiles, smooth formal transitions, and the feeling as though the vehicles were caressed by the wind. The grinders utilize push-button grinding mechanisms as to not obstruct the clean profile of the form, while also allowing for an ease of use with the simple push of a button.
