"Beauty Expectations" is an example of hyperrealism that aims to generate a critical analysis about social standards.This work of feminist nature denounces the beauty standards set by society. My own representation in this photographic work resembles my experiece as a woman whom grew up in a culture that has unrealistic expectations of beauty. In modern society women are constantly looking for social acceptance, and the standardized idea of beauty has been the cause of many health and mental issues that idealized a false idea of how we are supposed to look like.
