Salt and Pepper shakers - The product was development between 2007 and 2008 in IGUANO the aim of the project was to design products for the kitchen with a strong charge of national identity.
"Los Diablos de Yare" (Yare Devil´s) are a colourful venezuelan tradition that mixes magics and religious customs, with dance, music and faith. It is celebrated in the catholic day of "Corpus Christi".The dancers and musicians wears red clothes, and big masks full of color with different shapes that resemble to the devil with horns. "Los diablos de Yare" are a mankind patrimony declared by the UNESCO.
The product is based on the dancers with the mask, but in a simple way, and represent the first and second foreman, how are the leaders that guide all of others dancers. The material is liquid clay (barbotina) with glassy paint finish.
