Advertisement art for the Great Lakes Trader. "Spring forward into Spring" was the statement the drawing was to be modeled after. A playful and cheerful illustration, almost like a children's book drawing, was the eventual path to completion. Space was to be left for ad information to be filled in. All typography, information pertaining to the advertisement, and additional items were added after the artwork was sent.
