A random form was to begin with with no relations to anything
A close up interior view of the random form
A plan view of the random form
A separate form was created and explored further
An interior view of the second form
Another interior view of the second form
Traits of the 2 separate forms were taken and combined to present this new form. A combination of circles and lines to form cylinders, cubes. Resulting in spatial relationships surfacing.
A plan view of the combined form. A mixture of interlocking spaces, adjacent spaces & also spaces linked by a common space can be seen from this view. (Spatial Relationships)
The form exploration is entering the final stages. A multiplication of the cylindrical shapes are seen about the given space of 2 flat planes (Orientation of choice) . platforms can be seen connecting the spaces between the cylinders.
The other side of the combined form. Notice that the sizes of the elements, especially the cylindrical shapes are smaller. To emphasize on the spatial hierarchies and the sizes of the Design.
A perspective view of the combined form showing both sides of the Design to show the differences.
A plan view of the combined form. The main element of the Design are cylinders as should be clear by thus far.
The finalized form with hexagons in the end (a circle with angles). I decided upon hexagons as there's more room for exploration with the angles. A perspective to show both sides.
This side of the design has large cylindrical hexagons but only fewer than the other side with smaller sized cylindrical hexagons but many in number.
This side has smaller sized cylindrical hexagons as compared to the other side and larger in numbers as well.
The plan view shows both sides. To achieve 'balance' in density of overall design, one has to find a way to 'balance' both sides. So to have large cylindrical hexagons & smaller sized cylindrical hexagons but few and many in numbers respectively would effectively achieve the desired outcome.

At the final stage, every angle you look at is almost the same as the other. Objective is to make it seem as though the surroundings are of one and the same yet so different from one another with variation to the hierarchy of shapes and sizes and so on,
