APC Uptime Newsletter Supplement - Using APC’s Current’s Newsletter layout structure, this Uptime newsletter was directed at technical end users and provided more technical information on APC’s products to the recipient. This iteration maintains that level of information, but in a presentation that is more logical, clearer and focused than an editorial in a newsletter would allow. Response in field was exceptional with many APC field technicians and sales people requesting it for their clients and themselves for reference.
APC PowerStruXure "IT Headache" Mailer - This multiple panel piece is barrel folded and has a perforated coupon at the end for the recipient to respond with. Other mail pieces use multiple panels for ornamentation or a design flourish, but this piece uses every panel to tell a story so that everyone is an integral part of the piece. It saves mail costs by folding down to the size of a standard number 10 envelope, yet it offers the designer and writer a great deal of real estate to explain the product or service.
availability.com "Look, Listen, Learn" Event Mailer - Currently, personalization technology is used regularly, but when this piece was designed, the technology was still trying to establish itself. Working with an eager printer, this piece had many features - customized 4-color messaging, customized content for the recipient as well as a tear-away “ticket voucher” imprinted with information that would allow A.com to tabulate who went to the game and what message worked with them.
