Blackbird Mechanics Creeper
(Individual Design/ Build) Low profile mechanics creeper to provide DIY mechanics easy access under their car. The design incorporated lighting, tool trays, a motorized adjustable back and rechargeable battery. Utilized pen sketching for the initial ideation, exploring different forms and arrangements. Created full scale foam mock-ups to validate the design and layout. Worked extensively in metal shop to fabricate the frame and lift mechanism from steel. Created the main body by laying fiberglass in a custom form and assembled the components and wiring to complete the functional prototype.
