In addition to doing the layout and design, I was also the company photographer. I needed a photo for the front to illustrate the process, so I took my camera out into the relatively dark warehouse and snapped a fantastic photo of a brilliantly bright weld arc.
This particular bulletin was designed to highlight our tube panel overlay process, which could be done on the panel horizontally or vertically. Here I once again, I grabbed my camera and snapped a photo of the horizontal process for the front of the bulletin.
The top photo was taken by me to illustrate the vertical tube panel overlay process. For this photo, I climbed to the top of the 20 foot tall clamping structure and snapped a shot as the weld head was moving down.

Technical Bulletins

I produced a series of technical bulletins for an industrial contractor specializing in weld overlay services for the petroleum, pulp and paper, waste-to-energy, and power industries. Although the articles were written by people much smarter than me and with a bunch of initials after their last names, I did the layout and design as well as the photography for many of the bulletins.
