American Airlines-GBTA 2013

At the front of the exhibit space was a 16-foot tall framed out video wall that featured content on American’s new planes and interiors. Once inside the space, American flight attendants led attendees through to the left to experience the “sensory tunnel” where a wide video display showcased new “brandscape” videos that American is using inside the new planes during boarding. Next, attendees could experience three new seats and interact with new features as well as view a short film that showcases the environment to give them an experience of actually being in the new plane. Next to the scale bar was a touch-screen kiosk that further reinforced seating environments and provided more details of what they can expect from the new fleet. Also, overhead were “cloud” panels that were fabric structures that allowed the space to be lit by the custom lighting touches within the space and not the dead, yellow fluorescent show hall lighting.
