Right of Passage Ring - The assignment was to design a silver hollow ring that symbolized a personal right of passage.
My design was based on my experience leaving home. The outer band embraces the inner band and represents a sense of comfort and protection. The bars are made out of dried plant stems and reference being cut off from my roots. The overall theme is the embracing of new things and the protection of old things.
