So, here it is. This is where we started.
From the current design, our group have decided to keep the design elements that preserves KitchenAid brand identity: white glossy ABS plastic, contrasted with silver strip on a organic body.
To understand what this product is composed of, we started to take it apart.
And here is what we learned from taking the product apart.

On the drawing board, I came up with ideas of our next generation hand mixer design.
After several iterations of weighted model, we came up with a design.
Here, when you look at the old design, wrist is stressed with an unnatural positioning.
The wrist position is now straight and natural. This also reduces the holding weight by grabbing closer to the center of the weight (which is near its motor).
