In consumer products, campy is king. But this QVC product of mine was so campy that it became a fixture on the set of "Raising Hope." Success!
I made this quick sketch in a meeting at the Disney offices in Burbank; it went on to become quite a big seller.
Back in the day, Chavant clay sculpts like this would be sent back and forth to WB for approvals. Once approved, they were sent overseas for casting and production. This one is in progress (still rough).
