One of the parts which helps the child develop motor functions are the two sets of wheels. I included these on the product as from my research I found that children in the age range I was designing for would always push toys along the floor, regardless of their intended use.
The second part of the product which helps develop the child's motor functions is the propeller that is on the front of the plane. This would be loosely held in place, allowing it to be easily spun by the child time and time again, as I found from my research that children in the age range are easily amused by products having features like this one.
The character included with the plane is of a simple design to fit into the current range of toys available to purchase at the moment.
