This is a somewhat retrospective look at photography as a medium. These are test strips used to determine a certain batch of film’s fix time. Scanning these discarded strips of gelatin reveals a abstract landscape created by the contrast between the undeveloped emulsion and the gelatin film itself. This body of work asks What is Photography? How are these tools used and how are they being looked over?
