The Blues
This body of work was inspired by California blues guitarist Pee Wee Crayton. I used old guitar strings to create two-dimensional graphical arrangements on photographic paper, mirroring the way in which each blues song, although similar in structure, is uniquely imbued with mood and meaning. Each photogram is an 8?x10? original composition and named after a Pee Wee Crayton song.
